Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the movie 'Birdman. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who can play both comedic as well as dramatic characters. His career has seen him play a variety of love-interest characters as well as appearing in a few action thrillers. When he was still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in acting and performing. In the later years, when he was an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. The comedian had a lousy career but this paved the way to the success of his acting career. Not able to achieve success in the field of comedy, he picked up a job as cameraman for a TV cable channel. It was at this station is where he realized the only thing he really wanted was to perform on camera. He was then able to secure a TV role, and he appeared in many shows of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The natural talents of the actor earned him a lot of attention on TV. With great ambitions, he started a film career and became famous due to his comedic role. His career was further enhanced when he won acclaim for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor over time and ventured into the production and direction realms. He was awarded numerous nominations and awards for his performances in the film Birdman.
