Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along together with her mom. The formal vocal training when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for singing, music and the arts keep active in community projects for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana was a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
